As the year 2015 drags to a close for Hip Hop fans I feel it is time for that recurring discussion to be had, however not with its usual maddening rhetoric of: “Who has owned 2015?” or “What was the album of the year?” Both for me on a personal level are fruitless branches of which I wish not to divulge into fully, and feel there are more pertinent arguments that can be raised. Yes, Drake has taken us back to the essence with his dismantling of a fellow flourishing rap star and more monster projects .In addition purists will argue that Kendrick Lamar delivered a modern classic with “To Pimp a Butterfly” and this should be celebrated given the current climate. Conversely I feel that both are going to be a consistent theme for the foreseeable future and we will have plenty more opportunities to dig our teeth into both artists’ legacies. Joe Budden is an artist that has consistently stayed in the blogs predominantly for all the wrong reasons, however with his project “All Love Lost” dropping today, I’m going use my latest blog entry to give my unbiased review of his latest offering. What happened to R&B MUSIC? For most of those that will be taking the time out to read this post, when I say R&B it will stir up a myriad of emotions: Negative, indifferent and positive. What I want to delve into is how a genre that has stretched over several generations manages divide opinions so extraordinarily. So that time has come again, the two most successful clubs in English football meet again tomorrow afternoon in a pivotal fixture, for both Manchester United and Liverpool at The Theatre of Dreams. The Future of the Knicks Let us rewind a year or so ago, a new President.  Phil Jackson, a former champion with the Knicks. The Zen Master himself.  The driving forces behind two of the NBA greatest Dynasties. With his return to the big apple fans were eternally optimistic in him heralding in a new and prosperous era at The Garden. What followed however… was nothing short of catastrophic!
